Nissan GT-R (R35). 2007 to date (prod. unknown). 2-door coupé. F/A, 3799 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Spun-off from the Nissan Skyline line, much-anticipated GT-R has twin-turbo 3·8-litre V6 developing a claimed 480 PS and 588 Nm. Top speed is 310 km/h with 0–60 mph times of between 3·3 and 3·8 seconds. Nissan’s Shiro Nakamura, chief creative officer for the company, believes the car expresses Japanese culture—GT-R had, by the time of its launch, become an iconic model. Angles and exaggerated wings give a menacing look. Some Skyline styling cues, including traditional rocketship tail lights.

Manufacturing location: Tochigi, Japan

Marque: Nissan | Predecessor: Nissan Skyline R34 (GT-R)
