Independent front suspension; sedans had a five-link suspension at rear, and adjustable Super Sonic Suspension available on top sedan and hardtop models. Fiftieth anniversary model in 1983. Facelift in 1985, with mostly cosmetic and equipment changes. Exported as Nissan 220C, 280C and 300C, depending on capacity; YLN had its licensed versions in Taiwan.
