Originally used in Europe to replace the long-running Sunny nameplate, denoting a version of the Nissan Pulsar. The Almera name tied in with the slightly more established Primera in the mid-size sector. Almera Classic was used for the Samsung SM3 in Ukraine and Russia. Almera was also used for the Samsung SM3 in Central America and Ecuador, for the revived Nissan Sunny in Thailand, and the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy in Russia.

Marque: Nissan | Predecessor: Nissan Sunny | Successor: Samsung SM3
