NSU Prinz 4 (Typ 47). 1961–73 (prod. 570,000 approx.). 2-door saloon. R/R, 598 cm³ (I2 OHC). Successor to the original Prinz, with 30 PS, longer wheelbase, and improved handling, but a similar formula to before. Weight merely 570 kg, allowing 4 to reach 116 km/h. Prinz 4S slightly more upscale, and 4L, from 1965, posher still, with dummy grille on front (exported as Super Prinz to the UK). The original 4 and 4S were deleted in 1969.
