Morris Minor

Very successful light car from Morris, designed by Alec Issigonis, and sold from 1948 to 1971. It was marketed in most parts of the British Commonwealth, though, curiously, it was never pushed heavily in the US. Particularly long life, though, unlike Volkswagen Käfer, the Minor did not have as great an evolution, with models divided into three distinct generations. Eventually replaced, long after its sell-by date, by the mass-market Marina. Considered an iconic small car today.
