Morris Major (DO1115). 1959–62 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/R, 1489 cm³ (I4 OHV). BMC Australia re-engineers the original Major with a longer wheelbase, tailfins, new sheetmetal, a front bench seat, and a strengthened chassis and suspension, making them more appealing to local customers. Better handling than Series I. Twinned with Austin Lancer Series II.
