F/R, 1200 cm³ (I4 OHV). Downmarket version of Oxford Series II (£495 at launch, £30 less than Oxford), with smaller Austin A40 Devon engine installed, using prewar name and, till then, one used for a commercial vehicle based on the Oxford MO. Essentially the same as Oxford mechanically but with smaller brakes; heater was optional.
