Mitsubishi Starion (JA/JB/JD). 1982–90 (prod. 74,064 approx. sold in US). 3-door coupé. F/R, 1997, 2555 cm³ (I4 OHC). Grand tourer built on the platform of the Mitsubishi Galant Λ (1980–3) with some competition success. Name a combination of Stallion and Orion (series of engines). Available with both original and wide-body (from 1986) variants. Exported as Dodge and Plymouth Conquest to US; called Chrysler Conquest from 1987 model year.
