2000 Mitsubishi Pajero Mini Links.jpg

Mitsubishi Pajero Mini (H53/H58A). 1998–2012 (prod. 170,000 approx.). 3-door SUV. F/R, F/A, 659 cm³ (I4 OHC), 659 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Same formula as before, but with a 100 mm wheelbase stretch, and an extra 80 mm in width. Doors carried over, reducing cost. Longer life, but actually fewer made. More urban models in the range this time, appealing to younger buyers, while engine torque improved. DOHC turbo deleted in 2002 in favour of OHC one, due to emissions’ regulations. Facelift in 2008, apeing larger Mitsubishi Pajero (V38). Continued upgrades, including 3·3-inch LCD screen and reversing camera from 2010.

Manufacturing location: Japan

Marque: Mitsubishi | Model: Mitsubishi Pajero | Predecessor: Mitsubishi Pajero Mini (H51)
