Three-door to begin with; five-door quickly added; by 2002 the three-door was dropped. Pininfarina made the European model. Japanese production till 2007. Brazilian flex-fuel model from 2007. Brazilian production from 2002 to 2015, with further facelift in 2010. Chinese production from 2003 to 2013.
