Mitsubishi Mirage Dingo. 1999–2002 (prod. 70,624 sold). 5-door MPV. F/F, F/A, 1298 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1468, 1834 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Odd, tall minivan, resembling Mitsubishi Toppo BJ but mechanically related to larger Dion. Unusual front end with stacked headlights initially, with revisions at the end of 1999 and a facelift to a conventional grille for its final year, 2001. Four-wheel drive from the end of 1999. Plenty of limited editions, but never that successful. Became the Hafei Saima in China after production ended in Japan. Last use of the Mirage name on the home market until 2012 model appeared.

Manufacturing location: Japan

Marque: Mitsubishi | Model: Mitsubishi Mirage | Successor: Mitsubishi Colt (2002–)
