Mitsubishi Mirage/Eagle Summit (CC). 1991–5 (prod. n/a). 2-door coupé, 3- and 4-door sedan. F/F, F/A, 1298, 1834, 1998 cm³ (4 cyl. OHC), 1496, 1597 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC). Rounded fourth-generation Mirage, with distinctive two- and four-door models, the latter with different sheetmetal to Lancer. Three-door hatchback sedan best known, as before. Adequate performance for most models; good ride, but uninspired handling. Less refined than comparable Civics and Corollas and cramped at rear. Sold also as Eagle Summit in US and Canada from 1993 to 1996 model years. From 1995, wound up in Malaysia as the basis for a range of Proton cars (Satria, Wira, Putra, Jumbuck).

Manufacturing locations: Kurashiki, Okayama, Japan

Marque: Mitsubishi | Model: Mitsubishi Mirage | Predecessor: Mitsubishi Mirage (1987–91) | Successor: Mitsubishi Mirage (1995–2000)
