Mitsubishi Lancer Fiore. 1982–3 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1410 cm³ (I4 OHC). Booted Mitsubishi Mirage (1978–83), essentially the same as the car in that line with minor trim differences. Offered for only one year in Japan, though enjoyed a far longer life in Australia as Mitsubishi Colt (1982–90). Usual Mirage attributes of refined engine and quiet cabin; turbocharged model available as Japan kicked off early 1980s’ turbocharging craze. Generally not considered part of Lancer lineage, but a Mirage spin-off, which it was.
