Sister car to the Mitsubishi Galant and Galant Σ, originally a trim level with the Σ line in 1978–80 (essentially an Σ with square headlamps). Spun off into its own line (Eterna Σ) in 1980, though still clearly a version of the Galant Σ. This relationship continued till 1987, when the Eterna Σ ceased production. From 1988, the Eterna was launched, but with noticeably different body variants to the standard Galant (E30), though numerous parts were shared. By 1992, the Eterna had different sheetmetal altogether. Ironically, that was the last of the line, as the Galant sister models became the Aspire and Legnum.

Marque: Mitsubishi | Predecessor: Mitsubishi Galant Σ (A120) | Successors: Mitsubishi Emeraude, Mitsubishi Legnum, Mitsubishi Aspire
