Mitsubishi Eclipse. 2006–12 (prod. n/a). 3-door coupé, 2-door convertible. F/F, 2378 cm³ (I4 OHC), 3828 cm³ (V6 OHC). Final generation of Eclipse coupés, before the name adorned an SUV. Styling improved from previous generation. Stability control standard from 2010 model year. Well equipped generally, with comfortable seating up front, and V6 well regarded for its power output and torque. Good handling, neatly designed interior, and usable cargo space. However, the Eclipse was heavy, there was poor fuel economy from the V6 and the four-cylinder model lacked punch, and the interior quality was lacking.
