2000 Mitsubishi Dignity.jpg

Mitsubishi Dignity (S43A). 1999–2001 (prod. 59). 4-door sedan. F/F, 4498 cm³ (V8 DOHC). Short-lived flagship, developed from the Proudia, and sold from December 1999 to May 2001, killed by the company’s financial problems. Supposedly a rival for the Toyota Century (GZG50) and Nissan President (JG50), and priced to suit (at ¥9,900,000) but never accepted, in part thanks to its front-wheel drive.

Manufacturing location: Okazaki, Aichi, Japan

Marque: Mitsubishi | Model: Mitsubishi Dignity | Successor: Nissan Cima (HGY51)

q.v. Hyundai Equus (LZ)
