Mitsubishi Diamante. 1990–5 (prod. n/a). 4-door hardtop sedan. F/F, F/A, 1998, 2497, 2972 cm³ (V6 OHC), 2497, 2972 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Technologically advanced large car, succeeding hardtop version of Galant Σ. Electronic suspension control and four-wheel-steer option. Japanese Car of the Year. Good steering and handling, with some body roll and adequate performance. Mid-term changes November 1993. Related, conventional six-light sedan sold in Japan as Mitsubishi Sigma (1990–6).
