Upscale twin to the [[Ford Explorer (UN105)]] with more standard equipment, but only the five-litre V8 under the hood at launch. Good acceleration, but poor fuel economy and ride. Decent room for the segment, and anti-lock brakes and dual airbags were standard. V6 from 1998.
