Mercury Monarch. 1975–80 (prod. 575,567). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/R, 200, 250 in³ (6 cyl. OHV), 302, 351 in³ (V8 OHV). Twin of US Ford Granada (1975–80), only slightly plusher, and with similar faux-Mercedes looks. Only real distinction to this heavy car separately from Granada was that it was officially exported, sold by Ford of Britain as a large luxury model.

Manufacturing locations: Mahwah, New Jersey, USA; Wayne, Michigan, USA

Marque: Mercury | Predecessor: Mercury Comet | Successor: Mercury Cougar (1980–8)
