Mercedes-Maybach S400/Mercedes-Maybach S500/Mercedes-Maybach S560/Mercedes-Maybach S600/Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman/Mercedes-Maybach S650 (X222). 2015–20 (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon, 4-door LWB saloon. F/R, F/A, 2996 cm³ (V6 DOHC), 3982, 4663 cm³ (V8 DOHC), 5980 cm³ (V12 OHC). Rather than have Maybach as a stand-alone marque, Daimler brought it into Mercedes, making it a sub-brand. The S models rivalled the Bentley Mulsanne (2010–20) and Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII. “Standard” model at 5,453 mm length, over 200 mm longer than the long-wheelbase Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse, with Pullman limousine at 6,499 mm. S650 called S680 in China. Ultra-luxurious, even beyond the regular S-Klasse, with plenty of power from all units. Very refined, and designed to be enjoyed most from the rear seats.
