Mercedes-Benz CLS 280/Mercedes-Benz CLS 300/Mercedes-Benz CLS 320/Mercedes-Benz CLS 320 CDI/Mercedes-Benz CLS 350/Mercedes-Benz CLS 350 CDI/Mercedes-Benz CLS 500/Mercedes-Benz CLS 55 AMG/Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG (C219). 2004–10 (prod. 170,000). 4-door coupé. F/R, 2987 cm³ diesel, 2996, 3498 cm³ petrol (V6 DOHC), 4966, 5439, 5461, 6208 cm³ (V8 DOHC). Coupé version of Mercedes-Benz E-Klasse (W211), with lowered roofline and, initially, slightly polarizing styling. Four seats only inside, and not the most commodious. Excellent performance and handling, and one of the best Mercedes-Benz four-doors to drive in the era. Mid-term revisions in 2008.
