Mercedes-Benz A160 CDI/Mercedes-Benz A180/Mercedes-Benz A180 CDI/Mercedes-Benz A200/Mercedes-Benz A200 CDI/Mercedes-Benz A220 CDI/Mercedes-Benz A250/Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG (W176). 2012 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door saloon. F/F, 1461, 1796, 2143 cm³ diesel, 1595, 1991 cm³ petrol (4 cyl. DOHC). A-Klasse loses its innovation in favour of a conventional hatchback, challenging the BMW 1er-Reihe (F20) and Audi A3 (8V). Very expressive, sporting styling, aimed at younger buyers, and a more dynamic package than its German rivals. Well designed cabin and good engines. Sporting handling, too, but at the expense of ride.

Manufacturing locations: Rastatt, Germany; Uusikaupunki, Finland

Marque: Mercedes-Benz | Model: Mercedes-Benz A-Klasse | Predecessor: Mercedes-Benz A-Klasse (W169)

q.v. Mercedes-Benz CLA
