Mazda Sentia (HD). 1991–5 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/R, 2494, 2954 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Large luxury car from Mazda, replacing Luce. Jaguar Mk X-inspired lines, marketed more as a drivers’ car. First to have Mazda’s new active four-wheel steering; solar ventilation. Succeeded by second-generation Sentia in Japan, but by the Mazda Millenia-badged version of the Eunos 800 in the US. Also sold as Ẽfini MS-9, and eventually absorbed that separate model range in 1994. Badged 929 in some export markets.
