Mazda MX-6 (GE). 1991–7 (prod. n/a). 2-door coupé. F/F, 1991 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 2497 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Two-door coupé version of Cronos, succeeding GD Capella coupé. Built alongside platform stablemate Ford Probe Mk II in the US, though only sold in Japan till 1995 thanks to Mazda’s failed multi-channel strategy. Four-wheel-steering model available. Good acceleration and ride as with Probe.
