Mazda Familia/Kia Brisa (FA3/SPB/STA/STB/SPC/M10A/BPBV/BTAV/BTBV/BPCV/BPB55/BTA65). 1967–78 (prod. n/a). 2- and 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé, 3- and 5-door wagon. F/R, 985, 1272 cm³ (I4 OHC), 987, 1169 cm³ (I4 OHV), 2 × 492 cm³ rotary. Mazda’s compact car line, exported as Mazda 1000, 1200 and 1300. Very wide range, including a rotary coupé (from 1968, exported as R100), and later a sedan (1969). Mid-term facelift in 1970, whereupon the Presto tag was added to the range in the domestic market; more modern OHC engines added. Was supposed to have been replaced by Grand Familia in 1971, but survived the model change initially. Sedans and coupés deleted 1973; commercial models and wagons continued. Anti-pollution Familia Presto 1300 AP from 1976, and one-litre model deleted. Licensed manufacture in Korea as Kia Brisa.
