Mazda Capella (CB)

Mazda Capella (CB2). 1978–85 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/R, 1586, 1769, 1970 cm³ petrol, 1769 cm³ LPG (I4 OHC). Capella gains a more efficient, boxy shape, but reasonably wind-cheating for the era (the coupé had a C_d of 0,38). Mid-term changes 1980, with a tidier, slant-nose design. LPG models for taxi use, and built till 1985, surviving the model change in 1982 for civilian models. Exported as 626; called Montrose in the UK.
