Mazda CX-30 (J59Y). 2019 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1759 cm³ diesel, 1998, 2488 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC), 61·1 kWh electric. Sporty Mazda Axela (BP)-based crossover, more commodious than the regular hatchback, shown at Genève 2019. Related underpinnings, which meant a less sophisticated torsion beam suspension set-up at rear. Slotted between Mazda CX-3 and Mazda CX-5 (KF). Well equipped, higher-riding electric version for Chinese market from 2021, with direct steering but handling could be better.
