Usually the export name for the Mazda Capella, though it also adorned various front-drive models on the GE platform, considered part of this lineage, as well as a US-built mid-sized sedan that was larger than the contemporaneous Japanese model. The 626 was either a sporty, handsome range, or a bread-and-butter Japanese car, depending on which generation one examined.
