Maserati Quattroporte (AM337). 1994–2001 (prod. 2,400). 4-door saloon. F/R, 1996, 2790 cm³ (V6 DOHC), 3217 cm³ (V8 DOHC). Smaller than before, using a stretched Maserati Biturbo platform, but with far more distinctive clothing, styled by Marcello Gandini. The first Maserati developed after Alejandro de Tomaso sold his shares in the business to Fiat. Decent power from the twin-turbo V6s at launch; Maserati Shamal V8 added 1995, developing 335 PS. Evoluzione from 1998 after Maserati wound up under Ferrari.
