Maserati Quattroporte II.jpg

Maserati Quattroporte (AM123). 1974–7 (prod. 13). 4-door saloon. F/F, 2965 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Very rare four-door saloon from Maserati, ultimately deleted by de Tomaso management when that company took over. Citroën SM-like under the Bertone-designed skin (by Marcello Gandini), hence front-wheel drive and hydropneumatic suspension; most reports were that it was underpowered. Six pre-production cars; seven production models.

Manufacturing location: Modena, Italy

Marque: Maserati | Model: Maserati Quattroporte | Predecessor: Maserati Quattroporte I | Successor: Maserati Quattroporte III
