Imposing, stylish award-winning SUV, finding favour in its home market, and a departure from the Jeep-based models. Mahindra’s first monocoque off-roader, available also as front-wheel-drive model. W6 denoted front-drive; W8 all-wheel drive. In-house-developed six-speed gearbox. Acceptable performance from four-cylinder turbodiesel. Cheap plastics inside though reasonably well screwed together. Three rows of seating possible.
