Mahindra Bolero. 2001 to date (prod. n/a). F/A, 2498 cm³ diesel (I4 OHV), 2523 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 2523 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Further development of Armada Grand, which in turn could trace its ancestry to the Willys Jeep CJ, looking more civilized, and with some of the quality issues ironed out. Facelifted in 2011. More refined than before, with less noise in the cabin, but even the newer Mahindra diesels that replaced the original Peugeot OHV unit remain lethargic. Ride improved, but handling belonged to an earlier era.
