MG 3. 2011 to date (prod. unknown). 5-door sedan. F/F, 1346, 1498 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC). All-new MG 3, owing nothing to the Rover-derived model. Design led by British team, though, apart from details on the grille and tailgate, a fairly conventional two-box design. Broader range than previous SW, with both sedan and sportier XRoss models offered in China at launch. Early Chinese marketing attempted to link MG 3 to iconic Austin and Morris models such as the Seven and Minor, saying this was the sixth generation of the cars. Exports expected.

Manufacturing location: Shanghai, China

Marque: MG | Model: MG 3 | Predecessor: MG 3 Mk I
