Originally denoting a mid-engined sports car using a Renault engine and transaxle, Europa was revived in 2006 for another mid-engined model based around the Elise. The earlier model, from 1966, was quick, lightweight and aerodynamic, while the latter one was more lavishly appointed, initially compromised but unbeatable for the price.

Marque: Lotus | Successor: Lotus Esprit
