With usual Town Car virtues of comfortable ride, though body-on-frame construction considered dated. Traditional American buyers preferred boxier shapes, hence 2003 facelift formalized Town Car’s lines. Long-wheelbase L model with six extra inches. Cartier trim dropped 2003 after having been option from 1981. Canadian manufacture from 2008 model year on, with last model leaving the production line on August 29, 2011.
