Looking a lot less like a facelifted Ford Edge this time, MKX has new tech including a 360-degree camera system, Auto Hold (which keeps the car stationary till the accelerator pedal is depressed), assistance for blind spots, lane departure and pre-collision, adaptive cruise control, and a Revel sound system with 19 speakers. More rigid body and improved chassis, including integral-link rear suspension, providing better handling and ride. The 3·7 is the standard unit, with the 2·7 turbo developing an extra 30 hp, at 330 hp.
