Lincoln MKC (C489). 2015 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1999, 2260 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Lincoln’s answer to the BMW X1 (E84), based around the Ford Focus (C346) platform, and the second model to have its new design language. Very convincing as a luxury crossover, with very few traces of its Ford heritage inside (indicator and windscreen wiper stalks from a Fiesta are one of the few clues). Very impressive equipment levels, including a mobile app to start the car remotely, panoramic sunroof and parallel park assist. Two turbocharged petrol units at launch. Comfortable ride and refined, and responsive at the wheel.
