Harold Lightburn believed Australians, like many Europeans, would seek a cheap, locally made light car, and developed his Zeta, after acquiring the rights to British designs. Sadly, it never caught the media’s imagination, or the public’s. Launched as a small sedan, a roadster, or a utility (not covered here), fewer than 400 units total were made.
