Touted in the American media as an upscale Prius, HS actually based on the Toyota Avensis (T270) platform. Less aerodynamic than Prius, with C_d at 0,27 (Prius is 0,25). Design strangely proportioned, with hints of Toyota Allion (T240) in C-pillar. Shortcomings balanced by luxury and comfort. Handling not particularly up to par, but extremely refined. Related to Toyota Sai.
