Leapmotor S01. 2019 to date (prod. n/a). 2-door coupé. F/F, 36, 48 kWh electric. New Chinese brand débuted with an electric coupé, bucking the SUV trend. MacPherson struts up front, torsion beam at rear, but a good chassis overall. Keenly priced once government subsidies for EVs were factored in. Simple, basic interior hid high-tech features, such as facial-recognition start. Intelligent parking system and semi-autonomous driving as standard.
