Land Rover Defender

Renamed Land Rover, given a model designation rather than the use of wheelbase measurements, after the introduction of the Discovery. No real changes from the 1983 models, though new engines introduced during its run as Land Rover was sold to BMW, then Ford, then Tata. A long-anticipated second-generation model appeared at the Frankfurt show in 2019.
