Lancia Gamma Coupé.jpg

Lancia Gamma (Tipo 830). 1976–84 (prod. 15,272 saloon, and 6,789 coupé). 4-door saloon, 2-door coupé. F/F, 1999, 2484 cm³ (F4 OHC). Large executive range from Lancia, replacing Flavia and Fiat 130 Coupé and reviving prewar Gamma nameplate. Never earned much cachet due to four-cylinder flat-four engines, which initially proved unreliable; mid-term changes in 1979 never revived sales. Bodywork, surprisingly for period Lancias, quite good. Coupé particularly stylish, with low-slung shape by Aldo Brovarone at Pininfarina. Coupé built at Pininfarina in Torino.

Manufacturing locations: Chivasso, Torino, Italy; Torino, Italy

Marque: Lancia | Model: Lancia Gamma | Predecessors: Lancia 2000, Fiat 130 | Successor: Lancia Thema (1984–94)
