Lancia Delta (Tipo 836). 1993–9 (prod. unknown). 3- and 5-door saloon. F/F, 1581 cm³ petrol, 1929 cm³ diesel (4 cyl. OHC), 1747, 1756, 1995 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC). Softer Delta, based on booted Lancia Dedra and Fiat’s Tipo 2 platform (which also underpinned the Fiat Tipo). Attractive, though not as original as Giugiaro-designed predecessor. Unlike predecessor, Delta was no longer Fiat’s primary rally model, and performance models were restricted to front-wheel-drive turbocharged ones. Mid-term revisions 1996.

Manufacturing location: Italy

Marque: Lancia | Model: Lancia Delta | Predecessor: Lancia Delta (831) | Successors: Lancia Lybra, Lancia Delta (844)
