Lamborghini Murciélago. 2001–10 (prod. 4,099). 2-door coupé. M/A, 6192, 6496 cm³ (V12 DOHC). Luc Donckerwolke-penned Diablo successor and the first new Lamborghini under Volkswagen. Scissor doors, as with predecessor. Smaller engine to 2006; larger engine thereafter, with brief styling changes that year. Ultimate version, the lighter and stiffer LP 670–4 Super Veloce (2009–10), with 670 PS (661 hp). Supercar in every sense, and potent without traction control switched on.

Manufacturing location: Sant’Agata Bolognese, Bologna, Italy

Marque: Lamborghini | Predecessor: Lamborghini Diablo | Successor: Lamborghini Aventador

q.v. Lamborghini Reventón
