Lagonda Taraf (Project Comet). 2014–16 (prod. 150 approx.). 4-door saloon. F/R, 5935 cm³ (V12 DOHC). Super-saloon on the Aston Martin VH architecture, longer than Aston Martin Rapide, with carbonfibre external panels and with a very wide rear track. Rapide S engine, developing 558 PS. Squared-off body and slim lights meant to recall 1970s Lagonda. Originally offered to Middle East customers only, before Aston reversed the decision in 2015 and opened up sales to more markets. Production originally announced at 200, but final total likely c. 150.
