David Brown’s attempt to revive Lagonda marque, with a four-door grand tourer based on the Aston Martin DB4, with stretched platform and four-litre engine related to that in later DB5. Criticized for its front grille treatment, but admired for its claimed 130 mph top speed and exclusivity. Very expensive when new, at £4,950. Not directly replaced till Aston Martin Lagonda of 1974. Last Lagonda-branded car.
Marque: Lagonda | Predecessor: | Successor: Aston Martin Lagonda (1974–6)
