Related to Hyundai Tucson (TL) and with sportier looks, supposedly inspired by jet fighters. Slightly longer, with seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Diesel engines only for domestic market initially. More rigid structure, with greater use of ultra-high-strength steel, and added safety features including emergency brake assistance and lane-departure warning. Facelift for Chinese model in 2019, with more aggressive grille.
