Basing the third-generation Sorento on the Kia Carnival (YP), Kia upped the refinement and interior quality, while making the car more engaging to drive. The down side: a lower ride height meant the new model was less capable off-road, not that many buyers ever took theirs there. Well priced, and well equipped.
