Model line that began with the Mazda-developed Ford Festiva, made by Kia, a car which survives to this day in Iran as the SAIPA Pride and derivatives. In Korea, however, Kia moved the game on in 2005 with the second-generation Pride, usually exported as the Rio—a budget car, selling mostly on price. A third generation débuted in 2011, taking Kia nearer to the top of the class, with smarter looks under design boss Peter Schreyer. Separate from Kia K2, though it shares its platform. A more “mature” fourth generation was launched in 2016.

Marque: Kia | Predecessor: Kia Brisa
