Kia Forte (TD/XK). 2008–14 (prod. n/a). 4- and 5-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/F, 1582 cm³ diesel, 1591, 1998, 2359 cm³ petrol, 1591 cm³ LPG–electric hybrid (I4 DOHC). Variation of Kia Cee’d (ED), with same wheelbase, sold in Korean domestic market, North America, Asia and Oceania. Attractive sedan and coupé, which launched first; Hatch débuted 2010, sharing sedan’s rear doors. Good handling from coupé, dubbed Koup in some markets, though ride harsh. Some models underpowered. Not that refined against competition, with interior lacking. Eco Plus GDI sedan from 2011, with stop–start. Exported to some countries as Kia Cerato; sold in Malaysia as Naza Forte.
